CHAYAN–2025 was a landmark national convention organized by Kula Nirmulana Sangham (KNS) in November 2025, bringing together nearly twenty organizations from across India committed to protecting the Right to Choose and promoting inter-caste and inter-religious marriages. The convention provided a common platform for social reformers, legal experts, human rights defenders, researchers, and activists to deliberate on the growing incidence of honour killings, caste-based discrimination, and violence against couples exercising their constitutional rights. Participants shared experiences from different states, honoured the victims of caste-driven violence, released the powerful awareness song Prema Karuvaye and the CHAYAN–2025 Souvenir, and unanimously adopted a national resolution calling for stronger legal protections, fast-track courts, safe houses, rehabilitation measures, and a comprehensive law to safeguard inter-caste and inter-religious couples. The convention reaffirmed the collective commitment of participating organizations to uphold the constitutional values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, and to strengthen a nationwide movement for a casteless, democratic, and humane India.
